Sedro-Woolley Riding Club

To become the next Sedro-Woolley Rodeo Queen here are a few dates, rules & regulations as well as duties required.


  • July (Date TBA) - Entry form along with application fee to be turned in
  • September - Royalty night at SWRC rodeo grounds, Mondays only.  Not required but available for practice time.  occasional meeting nights.
  • September (Date TBA) - Royalty Poker Ride
  • September (Date TBA) - Royalty Appearance Night (Dessert Auction)
  • September (Date TBA) - Ticket Sales Deadline
  • September (Date TBA) - Queen Pageant
  • October (Date TBA) - Formal Coronation


  • MUST attend high school or have a high school diploma
  • MUST be at least 16 and not over the age of 21, between January 1 - December 31st
  • MUST show proof of age
  • MUST be a citizen of the United States
  • MUST not and never have been married
  • MUST not and never have been pregnant
  • MUST be a member of the Sedro-Woolley Riding Club
  • MUST have medical and liability insurance covering you at rodeos and parades
  • Reigning Queen may not run 2 years consecutively


  • Attend the Sedro-Woolley 4th of July parade and ride with the rest of the Sedro-Woolley Riding Club
  • Attend all days of the Sedro-Woolley Rodeo
  • Sell tickets at the SW Chamber of Commerce with Doug Wood
  • Attend all Loggerrodeo events as designated SWRC Royalty Committee
  • Rodeo:  You will arrive early and prepare for your rodeo run; help all visiting royalty get signed in with the announcer; make your rodeo run; be expected to help sell raffle tickets; handout event checks and greet the general public.
  • Attend all parades and community activities deemed necessary for the Sedro-Woolley Rodeo Queen Committee
  • Abide by all the rules, regulations and contract
  • Attend 50% of all monthly general meetings of the Sedro-Woolley Riding Club unless waived by the royalty committee
  • Help the Royalty committee coordinate, prepare and conduct the Queen pageant and coronation the following year
  • Must turn in a list of scheduled rodeos and appearance you plan on attending to the Royalty Committee Chairman at least once a month incase of schedule changes.  MUST turn in appearance and mileage log along with receipts upon request
